Jim’s Story

We chose Jim to build our new home as we were looking for a builder that was prepared to take on a custom design with particular features and finishes. Having built with a more volume orientated company previously we knew we didn't want to go that path again as we knew the limitations and that we needed a builder that was prepared to go the extra mile and offer more of a personal service. Jim was always available to give professional advice and guidance throughout the project and he personally ensured that the build was delivered as promised. The result is we have a unique home built to very high standards and we are very happy we went with Jim for our project. We wanted a home you could really live in, whereby choosing to stay home to entertain friends on weekends was more appealing than going out, so we love our alfresco timber deck and media room for watching our favourite movies on the large screen. Prior to choosing Bounds Constructions, we’d seen loads of display homes and it was only when we saw a couple of their previous builds that we realised we were in the right hands. Jim realised our vision immediately, which was to understand the growing needs of our young family while creating a beautiful home, with sizeable living spaces, whereby everyone feels they have their own space. We chose a black feature brick, which Jim and his team used to their advantage to create our stunning home.

Jim has built several homes for me. Quality and value for money were important factors to me. Jim was very honest and reliable during the construction process and always delivered. My experience of working with Jim has always been professional but enjoyable.

Now that the "Little Project" is completed, we would just like to thank you for the home we now have. When we started on our journey we did not realize the importance of having someone take control of every aspect of the process. We must commend yourself and your group of dedicated trade specialists for a job well done.
